Hiking the red Main Beskids Trail from Kąty by Łysa Góra peak, we partly traverse the hill called Dania or Halka (696 m above sea level), going down to the picturesque Chyrowa. It is here, on the slopes of Halka, there is a ski lift called Chyrowa Ski.
It is one of the most popular ski resorts in the region. For ski lovers, there are 3 T-bar lifts and platter lifts, and 4 ski trails. The red ski trail is 900 m, but 3 blue ski trails are 100, 400, and 1400 m. The main ski slope is one of the widest in Poland, and it has approx. 130 m width. The lower station is at the height of 470 m, and the upper one is at the height of 653 m – the altitude difference is 183 m. The ski slope is snow groomed, artificially snowed, and light. There are: a stylish inn serving local food, free car parks, a ski school, and mountain rescuers' medical care (GOPR).
