The Shed in Otaczarnia

The Shed in Otaczarnia is situated in the Bukowiec village, just next to Little Bieszczady Ring Road (Mała Obwodnica Bieszczadzka) . To get there, you need to drive through whole Bukowiec from Polańczyk side and just behind the bridge on the Solinka River, turn right onto a wide paved road. We enter the large parking lot next to the shelter immediately. Otaczarnia is the place where the Road Works Company stored raw material for road construction (bituminous masses). The aforementioned parking lot is currently present at this location. The shed was built by the Baligród Forestry Management and it is another one in the region. It is a large construction, covered with shingle, several dozen people can be accommodated there. Under the roof there is a stove where one can cook, benches and tables. Next there is a place for a bonfire and wooden toilet. From the shed, the Forestry Management has drawn a path in the form of a 2 km loop, which originally runs just by the shore of the Solinka River. The educational boards about Bieszczady’s fauna and flora are placed on the path. Return to the Shelter by a forest slope.
