The shed on Korbania

Korbania it is a peak located in the Łopiennik and Durna range with a height of 894 m a. s. l. The peak was previously called Patrola or Patryja, and sometimes these names also appear on the maps. A few paths lead to the top – the green one from Bukowiec, the red one in the form of loop (also from Bukowiec) and the green one to Łopienki.

Concrete geodetic tripod and a wooden observation tower are on the top. From there are impressive views on the Bieszczady Wysokie Mountains – Caryńska Pasture, Wetlińska Pasture, Tarnica to the peaks in Ukraine and Solina Lake, the Bukowskie Foothills, the Słonne Mountains. On the tower there is an illustrative map together with the names of the peaks. In 2014, next to the tower a shed was built where one can hide in case of bad weather and even stay there overnight. It is wooden, in the shape of a triangle, inside there are two benches and provisional tables. In front of it there is a furnace and another table with benches. Below the peak another place to rest was created.
