In the small village there is an interesting object: the crypt - a unique burial chapel of soldiers from World War I, placed in the Orthodox Temple of the Ascension of the Lord. In the 1920s due to different reasons it was impossible for Orthodox believers to build their temple. It was decided that instead of the church, they would build a monument to the victims of World War I.
They received building permission, so they built a church, and below it a crypt with the remains of soldiers. The bones belong to more than 1,600 fallen soldiers, whose remains were transferred to this place from the vast area. The crypt is accessible for visitors, the same as is the unique information center.
