Topoľa

The Greek Catholic wooden church of St. Michael the Archangel was built in 1700. It is a three-room, log, Lemko-type building, located on a steep hill above the village. It is surrounded by cemetery. The building also has a wooden belfry built in the 20th century on stone foundations. Iconostasis dates from the 18th century, some icons are from the 17th centuryTopoľa village is the birthplace of the outstanding Russian national revivalist Alexander Duchnovič - 1803. His monument is under the church by the road.
