Uličské Krivé

The wooden Greek Catholic church of Saint Michael the Archangel was built in 1718.
In Christianity, St. Michael is considered first of all as a suppressor of the devil in the form of
a dragon, as well as the leader of the heavenly army who stand in the east before the throne of God. It is a temple with Baroque details and an uniform roof configuration. The temple has two towers.Three bells hang in the higher tower of the temple. The oldest of them is from 1811.
The main entrance to the temple is located on the west site of the vestibule. Three-room building with a presbytery, a nave and the so-called narthex has a log structure. It is a Lemko type temple. The main altar and iconostasis from the mid-18th century were made in the tradition of Eastern European Baroque with elements of the Rococo style. The icon of Christ-Pantocrator over the Black Gate is from the 16th century. On the side walls of the nave there are several rare icons.
