Krásny Brod (monastery ruins)

Near the village are the ruins of the monastery of the descent of the Holy Spirit from the 14th century. Near the ruins of the original monastery, a new Basilian monastery and a temple were built, in which the miraculous icon of the Mother of God from Krásne Brod is located.

Near the monastery ruins, 50 meters east from the chapel, there is a military cemetery from the
World War I, which in the past had a square plan with a Latin cross in the middle. At the military cemetery were buried about 1,006 soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian Army and the Russian Tsarist Army.
