Humenné, open-air museum

The exhibition of folk architecture and apartments includes about 15 larger buildings and exhibits There is, for example, a wooden church from Nova Sedlice. Above the entrance to the church,there is a wooden beam, withthe date of its construction engraved in 1764. Then there is a water mill from Vyšna Jablonka, or a country house, from Kalna Roztoka, which was moved to the open-air museum in 1976 and many other houses, including garners. All these buildings were disassembled in their primary places, moved and constructed again. They are not replicas, but real, original buildings.
