A red tourist trail runs next to the monuments and the museum in the viewing tower.
The museum reminds about tough battles at Dukla Pass. At the end of World War II, through this Pass the liberation army of the Soviet and Czechoslovak troops crossed. The liberators met together in a small territory, and eventually won: 150 000 Soviet soldiers and 16 700 Czechoslovak soldiers who attacked from Poland. Against them were the occupants from Slovakia territory: 100 000 German and Hungarian soldiers. Result: Liberation forces had
110 000 dead or wounded soldiers, occupiers: 52 000 dead, wounded or captured.
