The biggest military cemetery in Slovakia from the World War I is located in the cadastre
of Veľkrop village. It was recently renovated. 8 862 soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian and Russian armies are buried in the cemetery. The author of the main monument is landscape architect Marek Sobola.
Two memorial trees, common oaks of the Concordia variety were planted in front of the monument. The name of the variety means compliance in Latin.
