Stebnická Magura

The highest peak in the immediate area of Bardejov.

The peak itself is not only significant dominant feature of the landscape, but also the radio and television transmitter placed on its peak. The transmitter was completed in 1975. It is 81 m high tower. At the top, in addition to the building with a transmitter, you can also find a tourist shelter with bonfire and benches, information boards about the transmitter the reserve, and the book of the peak. Every year in spring, the Stellar Climbing tourist event (Hviezdicový výstup) to Magura is organized. The organizers of the action are surrounding villages and tourists from KST in Bardejov.
