Sninské rybníky

The Sninské rybníky recreation area offers hotel and an auto camp accommodation. One can also visit the local bio bath, whose water is cleaned without chemical disinfection but with the help of aquatic plants. One of the pools is intended for plants, there are as many as ten species. In the cleaning pool (the one with plants), the water is shallow, the sun warms it up quickly, which is why pleasant warm water without chemicals gets into the pool, which is suitable for people suffering from allergic reactions to chemical disinfectants.

One can continue along the green tourist trail from the ponds or return back towards Snina city (train station) or to Sninský kameň (3 hours on foot).
