Veľká Domaša (water dam)

The Veľká Domaša water reservoir (Domaša for short) was built on the Ondava River. Aside from the beautiful surroundings and quiet corners, to the attractiveness of Domaša contributes also the lake with clean, blue-green water with excellent self-cleaning abilities, in which many species of fish live.

On the shores of the lake there are many holiday resorts. Each resort offers accommodation in hotels, guesthouses or a tent at a campsite. You can find well-maintained beaches, restaurants and catering facilities here. Recently, the new artificial beach at Nová Kelča is particularly visited.

The water reservoir in summer has a temperature of 23°C and belongs to the warmest lakes in Slovakia.
