The village is located in the Snina district and is also called Paris. There are only 10 inhabited houses, 26 people live there, there is one of the most beautiful war cemeteries in the area in the village. There are 157 graves, in which Austro-Hungarian soldiers were buried. Also, the head of the Orthodox Church in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, metropolitan Rastislav comes from Parhuzoviec.
When entering the village, on the right turn towards the Parihuzovce ski resort, which offers two lifts and a total of 2,4 km of ski runs. It is a small ski resort with a more modest range of services. However, it can attract with lower price and a family atmosphere.
