The village is part of the area of the Poloniny Dark Sky Park, which from the point of view of light pollution is the darkest area in Slovakia. Astronomical observations can also be made in the village itself, public lighting in the village is turned off at 21:00, and in the summer, it does not turn on at all.
Above the village there is a pilgrimage place with healing water Three Wells (675 m above sea level) is place, where in 1927 Blessed Virgin Mary allegedly revealed to nine-year-old Jurajov Regulov (1918–1997). At this place are a chapel and three wells.
