Ruské is an abandoned village that was resettled in 1980 due to the construction of the Starina Dam. The village was not sunk, but there was a risk that people in the village could pollute the water in the dam, so everyone was evicted. In the village a municipal cemetery survived, a chapel in the place of the demolished church from 1789, a military cemetery from the World War I and three houses. A preserved stone road from 1861, i.e. Porta Rusica leads from the end of the former village to Ruské Sedlo.
