When visiting Huta Polańska, you can relax in the Hajstra hostel. This name means black stork; it also became a symbol of this place. The shelter started functioning in 1998. It has 42 accommodation places, including 24 rooms with private bathrooms. In addition, a restroom, a kitchen equipped with a fridge and a stove, and a dining room are at tourist's disposal.

Moreover, in front of the building, there is a fireplace, a big barbecue shed, volleyball and basketball courts, a bike rental, and for the youngest children, there are a swing and a sandbox. Near the shelter, there is a stream which is a great place to relax for children and adults. There is a possibility of an entire board in the shelter, prepared by hosts using products from a home garden and homemade preserves and dairy products.

The shelter owners have also got the Hucul horses, and there is a chance for horse riding and taking riding lessons.

From the shelter, the yellow trail to Mazgalica Pass is marked. This trail reaches the blue border trail.
