The Orthodox church in Bałucianka is located up in the village. Initially, it served Greek Catholics as Orthodox church dedicated to Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary and since 1946 it exists as a Roman Catholic Church Of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

The exact date of construction of the church is unknown but is considered one of the oldest in the Lemkos region. It was probably built in the 17th century - 1750 is the oldest date engraved in the lintel. In the 19th century, it underwent two major renovations, which significantly changed its appearance.

The church is tripartite, with timberframing construction, oriented (eastward), wooden, vertically boarded. Roofs are covered and the walls of the tower are shingled. A cornice with a carved ornament has survived in the nave. Next to the temple there is a screened bell tower, in which there used to be three bells – none of them have survived until today. The entire structure is surrounded by a stone wall.

Inside, a four-zone iconostasis from the 17th / 18th century has been preserved. An interesting folk painting presenting Christ of Kobylański deserves attention. The altar dates from 1783, has a Holy Trinity in the crown and in the main field a picture of the Virgin Mary  of the Immaculate Conception. This icon was stolen, but it was recovered and placed on the temple wall. The second of the stolen icons, the Virgin Mary with the Child is to be reconstructed. Part of the church's equipment is located in the Folk Architecture Museum in Sanok and among them, very valuable tsarist gates dated back to the 15th century.
