Nearby the Komańcza Letnisko’s railway station, next to the red Main Beskids Trail, in the middle of the fir forest is the Figure of Mother of God. The date when it was erected is unknown, but there are a few legends that say how the figure got here. According to one of them, one night a woodcutter from the Hutsul region slept here in a hut he had built. He dreamed about the "Lady in White" who, descending towards him and approaching his bonfire, ordered him to commemorate this event. The woodcutter placed the figure of Mother of God in this place. Another story tells about a bather bitten by a viper who could put the figure in acknowledgment of healing him. And finally, there is a story of a war prisoner detained by Germans who miraculously manages to escape and in gratitude, he erected this figure. Certainly, the figure had been there already when the imprisoned Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński was in the monastery. He visited the figure often and called it the Most Silent Sanctuary in the World.
