Łopienka is a former village displaced in 1947. It was famous for its cult of the miraculous icon of Our Lady of Łopieńska. Three times a year, pilgrims from remote lands came to the church fairs to the Orthodox church in Łopienka. An inn, two mansions and a school were nearby this church and along the creek were Boykos cottages. From all these buildings, only the Orthodox church has survived to this day – initially in a state of ruin and now, thanks to the involvement of social activists renovated. The Baligród Forestry Management marked several paths to Łopienka and built shed. One of such shelters was created on the site of a former inn. It is wooden, covered with shingle, there are a few windows in the walls, however, without window panes, from which you can see the Orthodox church. In front of the shed there is a place for a bonfire (Forestry Management takes care of wood supplies), a bike rack, toilet and information boards. In 2019, along the road, a nature path was led, which pass nearby the shed.
