One of the options to get to the highest peak of the Polish Bieszczady - Tarnica is to go the red Main Beskids Trail from Ustrzyki Górne through Szeroki Wierch. It has four peaks, the highest is 1315 m a. s. l. high and it has a separate name - Tarniczka. This is the culmination which is located closest to the saddle under Tarnica.
The massif of Szeroki Wierch is a fairly long ridge that extends parallel to Bukowe Berdo mountain pasture. The Terebowiec river valley. They are also separated from Krzemień, which is an extension of Bukowe Berdo, by Goprowcy Pass (the name comes from the fact that once in the summer season a seasonal duty room of GOPR in the tent was active here). The southern slopes descend towards Wołosatka Valley and the Wołosate - Ustrzyki Górne road.
Throughout Szeroki Wierch a wide panorama accompanies us. We see the neighboring mountain pastures such as Bukowe Berdo, Krzemień, Połonina Caryńska and the mountains on the Ukrainian side, border range, Bieszczady foothills.
