Goprowska Pass is located at an altitude of 1160 m. a.s.l. in the Western Bieszczady. The name of the Pass was officially established in 2009 and it came from the fact that until 2010, in this place in the summer months, the tent station of the Bieszczady GOPR Group operated. It separates Tarniczka (1315 m. a. s. l. ) from Krzemień (1335 m. a. s. l. ). The Pass itself is quite deeply incised in relation to the surrounding peaks, its slopes fall steeply downwards. Two springs flow near the pass - Wołosatka flows south, while Terebowiec tributary flows on the opposite side. The pass is a very good viewpoint for the highest peaks of the Polish Bieszczady Mountains as well as peaks at the Ukrainian side.
The red Main Beskids Trail goes through the Pass from Szeroki Wierch towards Halicz and the blue trail from Wołosate to Bukowe Berdo. A little bit above the Pass there is a shed in which one can take shelter in case of bad weather.
