Hrabová Roztoka

A wooden Greek Catholic Temple in Hrabová Roztoka village was constructed in the mid-18th century. It is named after one of the most outstanding persons in the Eastern Church, Saint Basil the Great. The building tripartite, three-room, two towers and two crosses. The temple has log structure, the structure of tower is columnar. Interesting fact about this temple is that the original appearance of the temple, iconostasis and throne from the time of creation of the temple has survived. In 2003 five icons were stolen from the temple. Due to improper handling, they were damaged and in need of renovation. They are temporarily outside the temple. The outer part was repaired in 2000.
