The most significant monument in Stropkov is the Gothic three-nave Church - the Sanctuary - of the Holy Body and Blood of Christ from the turn of the 13th and 14th century. It was a castle’s chapel during this time.
Its early Baroque altar with rich figurative and ornamental decorations belongs in its category to the most famous in Slovakia. Together with the Gothic-Renaissance object of the manor house was part of Stropkov Castle. Interesting is also the Monastery of the Order of St. Francis from the 17th century with a paradise garden and a cross hallway, or the Baroque object Slúžnovský house and art nouveau manor house in the southern part of the city. The newly built Greek Catholic Church of St. Cyril and Methodius from 1947 in the Byzantine style is also an important building.
